Royal County Down is located in one of the world’s most naturally beautiful links settings in the Murlough Nature Reserve. Against the magnificent backdrop of the Mountains of Mourne, the links stretches along the beautiful shores of Dundrum Bay.

Royal County Down is one of the world’s great clubs. Home to the famous County Down Championship Course, it has everything the ardent golfer requires. In terms of history and prestige, it doesn’t get much better than this.

The Championship Course is likely to be the focus of attention for most visitors to the famous Newcastle site, but those lovers of all things links should also pay close attention to the Annesley Links Course.

Laid out beneath the same massive, almost menacing backdrop, the Annesley Links is nowhere near as intimidating or as formidable a challenge as the Championship Links, but then it was never intended to be.
